    RD Sharma (Ravi Dutt Sharma) is most prominent and best seller mathematics textbook author in India.[1][2][3][4][5] He is a double gold medalist holder in both B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc in University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

    He is currently working as Head of Dept.(Science and Humanities) under the Directorate of Technical Education[3] and vice principal of Aryabhatt Institute Of Technology.

    Early life

    RD Sharma born in Bhoopkhera Village, Alwar DistrictRajasthan in a farmer family. He has been interested in mathematics since his childhood, and perused his studies in Mathematics only. He has completed his bachelor's, master's and his PhD in Mathematics from Rajasthan University[1].

    He has joined as lecturer RR College, Alwar, in 1981, and now he is a vice principal of Aryabhatt Institute Of Technology, New Delhi.[6]
