Before being nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical last year, Manoel Felciano worked on Wall Street during the day and played in rock bands at night.

Then he shaved his head, left banking and was cast in his first role after being discovered in a bar.

The busy Felciano flew in from Toronto on Monday afternoon to teach a master class to about 80 students, mostly members of Florida Players, a student-run theater company at the University of Florida, and then flew back to his home in New York only three hours later.

He told of his journey from Yale humanities graduate to leading role of George last month in "Sunday in the Park with George," which was directed by "Seinfeld's" Jason Alexander.
